These past months, I’ve had the opportunity to speak with many other activists, tourists, and passersby. As little progress has occurred in the House and Senate in passing bills supporting Ukraine’s fight for autonomy, I have found it more important than ever to speak out in my community. It has allowed me to see how Americans on all sides of the political spectrum stand on the issue (both in support and not), as well as hear from other advocates how to get more involved.
